About Us

The Australian Aluminium Council is the peak body representing the aluminium industry in Australia.

The Councils' members include companies operating in bauxite mining, alumina refining, aluminium metal production, semi-fabricated aluminium production and distribution.

The Aluminium Story

This series of websites was created by the International Aluminium Institute in cooperation with national and regional aluminium associations around the world.

These websites hold a wealth of information on their respective topics and are recommended to those who seek credible and accurate data; information on processes and benefits; and facts about the aluminium industry and products.
