The Council welcomes the opportunity to provide feedback to the Reliability Standard and Settings Review Issues Paper (the Paper). Aluminium smelters generally have long-term electricity contacts. As each smelter, refinery and extruder has unique electricity arrangements, the Council will reserve its comments on the Paper to a high level. The Council supports the submission provided by the Energy Users Association of Australia (EUAA).
