The Council welcomes the opportunity to provide comment and feedback to the Discussion Papers on Australia’s Guarantee of Origin (GO) and Renewable Energy GOs (REGO). However, as there is some overlapping context in the Council’s position, a single submission has been prepared.
The Council has responded to questions where relevant and notes that as each aluminium smelter, alumina refinery and bauxite mine has unique circumstances and contractual arrangements, the Council will present high level comments on the Papers.
