The Council welcomes the opportunity to respond to the Carbon Leakage Review Consultation Paper as a first step in the Government’s consultation on matters relating to carbon leakage risks in Australia to inform consideration of additional policy options to address any carbon leakage, including an Australian Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
