The Council welcomes the opportunity to respond to the Electricity and Energy Sector Plan Discussion Paper, as one part of the Government’s consultation on the overall Net Zero Plan. The aluminium industry has a strong overlap with the industry and resources sectoral decarbonisation plans, as well as some with the built environment and transport for aluminium in use.
