The Council welcomes the opportunity to provide a submission on Environment Protection Reform
Consultation: Shaping the Next Phase of Environmental Reforms. The Council in principle supports the
more detailed submissions of other mining related organisations which also represent the bauxite, alumina and aluminium sectors such as the Minerals Council of Australia and the Chamber of Mining and Energy WA. The Council will focus this submission on a single aspect of Consultation Paper 4 (the Paper) that related to radiological exposures.
